We recommend the Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference Center, our host hotel for dancing and lodging. The Sands is located at 1 Baltimore Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE directly on the boardwalk!

In the block of rooms reserved for square dancers, rates start at $179 per night for standard rooms (single, double, triple, or quad occupancy) for any night (Thursday thru Sunday).  An applicable tax of 11% and a resort fee of $1.50 will be additional.

Room reservations must be made no later than Monday, March 25, 2025, by calling the Atlantic Sands Hotel (toll-free) 1-800-422-0600.  To receive the special PTOH 2025 rate, you should specify “Chesapeake Squares, Inc., Booking ID #10845” and then tell the hotel desk staff your dates of arrival and departure.  These special reservations cannot be made on the Sands Hotel web site. After that time, remaining rooms will be released to the general public.  If you call to reserve rooms after the cut-off date, the Sands Hotel will not honor the special discounted rates for Chesapeake Squares.

The Sands has asked us to advise guests that rooms are "Run of the House", meaning that reservations are guaranteed at the discounted rate only, and not for a specific room type (or specific room numbers). But the Sands will note a "request", and accommodate you as best as possible.

Check-in time begins at 4:00 pm.  Guests arriving before 4:00 pm will be accommodated as rooms become available.  Check-out time is 11:00 am.

One complimentary parking space per room is provided in the Sands lot for overnight guests.  If your lodgings for the weekend are elsewhere, be advised that you will need to find parking on the street.  Spaces are most easily found during the morning hours.

Pets are not allowed at the Sands but they are at their sister hotel the Breakers.

​

Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the hotel, including on the balconies.  Violation of this policy by an overnight guest may result in a $200 penalty.
